AI PM Lab is a free learning site. It has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no ads, and it doesn't keep what you type. But the lessons run real AI models, so what you type is sent to them. Please don't enter anything private.

What you type

When you run a lesson or an immersive page, the text involved (your questions and prompts, and the lesson's own) goes through Vercel's AI Gateway to the model doing that step. The site uses the answer to show you what happened and doesn't save it; reload the page and it's gone.

The companies running the models receive that text and handle it under their own policies. If a model call fails, the error message is logged on Vercel so it can be fixed.

Your connection

Like any website host, Vercel sees your IP address and browser details when you load a page. The site also uses your IP address to limit how many model requests one visitor can make per minute, which keeps the lessons available to everyone.

In your browser

Two settings are saved in your browser's local storage, only once you change them: whether narration is on in the immersive pages, and whether lessons play straight through or step by step. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Who receives data

  • Vercel: hosts the site and runs the AI Gateway that passes requests to the models
  • OpenAI: GPT models
  • Mistral AI: Ministral and Mistral Small models
  • Perplexity: the embedding model that turns text into numbers for searching

About the lessons

Model answers can be wrong, and the lessons are for learning, not advice. Initech, its customers and its support tickets are made up.
